In the middle of a conversation, I say, "wait right there while I get my camera," and my poor husband knows I'm about to publish an embarrassing picture of him on the 'ole Internet.

#3 Food Dried and Stuck to a Plate

As I was cleaning the kitchen, preparing for Shabbat, I noticed my son's favorite piggy plate had escaped our notice when we cleaned up from dinner last night. How sucky to find it now, with spinach and other stuff dried and stuck to it.

Fortunately, a combination of soaking, scrubbing, and kicking its butt finally got it clean. But spending ten minutes to clean a plate?

#2 Not Being Hungry for an Amazing Cookie

I love iced sugar cookies, and I wish I was hungry enough to enjoy the Bite Me Flower Power cookie I bought this morning. I finished the pink parts, and I'll put the rest in the fridge for tomorrow.

But it won't be the same.

#1 A Slightly Ill-Fitting Shoe

I have a pair of brown dress shoes I got on final clearance a few years ago, and I never wear them. What a waste, right? I tried them on this morning, and they fit *almost* perfectly. I think, "good enough," and go on my way.

Now I remember why these have been slowly decomposing in my closet.

The shoes fit just enough to trick me into wearing them, and now I will be increasingly debilitated througout my day.
